The new Russell Memorial Library on Middle Road in Acushnet received some much needed donations on Friday, May 15, 2015 not only in over 175 tons of hot-mix asphalt but also a fully-staffed paving crew to install the asphalt. The Russell Memorial Library is relocating from its current Main Street building to a newly renovated Marie S. Howard Community Center building due to handicap accessibility options that their Main Street location could not accommodate. The library is schedule to open at its new facility later this summer.
